The world’s largest tree in terms of total volume, it regenerates by seed, the smallest handfuls of seeds grow to the greatest of heights.  The Sequoia requires periodic wild fire to clear competing vegetation and whilst it may bear the scars of many fires, being so tenacious of life it is not likely to disappear any time soon.

The Giant Sequoia’s friend is time, it can afford to wait, it is immense, resolute, determined, creative, patient, independent, enduring, resilient, mysterious and powerful.  A wonder of nature possessing many of the qualities we strive for as we pursue our personal and professional goals.

We believe the wonder of the Sequoia is firmly reflected in the work we do with clients from a visioning, strategy, cultural and leadership perspective.

Bridge:  A bridge exercises our curiosity.  We may use the term when we consider making a difference between two individuals or groups, a bridge can join, connect and unite us as we overcome and reconcile differences.

Building bridges can help us promote positive relations between individuals and groups.  At times we may need to reflect and reframe in order to reconcile with each other and progress with greater clarity and improved relationships

When problem solving we may want to Cross that Bridge when we come to it. In other words we will deal with a problem when it arises.

The link between bridges and the work we do in mediation and conflict resolution is a strong one in our view, building understanding, restoring harmony, improving wellbeing and securing a new perspective between individuals and teams can take time and a willingness to explore thoughts and ideas from another’s point of view.

About-Donna-Page-sm320I am a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and a fully accredited mediator and business coach.  My career as an HR professional has spanned almost thirty years, having secured many of my personal and professional goals within the HR arena, I ventured into the world of business consultancy.

I have for the past ten years successfully supported a full range of public and private sector organisations in formulating business strategy, developing their vision, cultivating cultural change, restoring harmony where there have been bumps in the road and aligning their teams with the way ahead.

Sequoia Bridge values are a reflection of my own, I am passionate about people progress and diversity, I encourage others to dare to be different and push ahead with determination.  Collaboration and connection are integral to all that I stand for both personally and professionally and I firmly believe that clarity and transparency keep things simple.

I believe too that we should celebrate more and maybe it all gets a bit too serious at times, of course the goals are all important and they remain at the forefront of our thinking but every individual has a story, they have values fears and aspirations, they have ideas to share, a voice to be heard and a part to play.

When we celebrate our successes and the difference that we each bring to an organisation we have true engagement, passionate team players and unquestionable levels of team resilience and wellbeing.

I work with clients to understand their story and to support them as they navigate their way through their next chapter, meeting challenges head on and securing firm foundations for the way ahead.
